Writer, Misunderstood (2008 New York City Contest Winner)

Ravyn Sweringer lives and goes to school in Manhattan where she is a senior at the High School of Graphic Communication Arts. She hopes to go to college next fall where she wants to major in psychology or sociology. She plans to use her degree to pursue a lifetime of activism in service of a more just society where all young people can be recognized for their talent.
