Writer, Bitter Memories (2008 Texas Contest Winner)

Mariella Zavala credits wildly divergent cultures in the US, Mexico and Texas as forces that make her mind so open and diverse. She feels lucky to have experienced so many aspects of film making through her work with Scenarios and now knows she wants to make movies! Though she isn't set on a specific role – writer, director, actor, producer – she wants the opportunity to be creative in whatever she does.
