- Jermaine Wall
Jermaine Wall, Carolyn Perry, Darius Moore and Eve Liberus wrote Choices: the Good, the Bad, the Ugly to capture a cross-section of interconnected issues affecting them and fellow youth in their school district. Jermaine and his co-writers turned their community’s struggles into a powerful and positive call to action to start making decisions for healthier lives. The writers were particularly passionate about ensuring that the dialogue rang true so that young viewers would buy the messages.
Jermaine grew up in Gainesville, FL and will graduate from the University of Florida in Spring 2008 with a degree in Family, Youth and Community Sciences. Jermaine has interned with Planned Parenthood in a program specifically addressing young men’s health education needs, and he plans to continue advocating for comprehensive youth services in all communities.
In addition to his experience as a filmmaker and speaker, Jermaine is an avid writer and performer of slam poetry and organizes readings in Gainesville, where he is well-known for his art.
