Carolyn Perry

Writer, Choices: The Good, the Bad, the Ugly (2001-2002 National East Contest Winner)

"On television, the main characters never get AIDS or get pregnant. I wrote my story to tell people that they're not the main character."

- Carolyn Perry

Carolyn Perry, Jermaine Wall, Darius Moore and Eve Liberus wrote
Choices: the Good, the Bad, the Ugly to capture a cross-section of interconnected issues affecting them and fellow youth in their school district. Carolyn and her co-writers turned their community’s struggles into a powerful and positive call to action for youth to start making decisions for healthier lives. The writers were particularly passionate about ensuring that the dialogue rang true so that young viewers would buy the message.
