Jamie Babbit directed the feature comedy But I'm a Cheerleader which was released world wide by Lions Gate in 2000. Babbit also directs for television, including episodes for the Golden Globe nominated Nip/Tuck, Gilmore Girls, and Malcolm in the Middle, and produced and directed episodes for the WB's Popular. Her three short films have all premiered at the Sundance international film festival with 2001's Stuck winning an honorable mention. Her latest feature film, The Quiet, starring Edie Falco and Elisha Cuthbert, is in post-production.
