Griffin Dunne

Director, Today I Found Out (2002 South Texas Contest Winner)

"What I liked about Samantha's story is that it is a testimonial. It was straightforward, direct, simple, and very moving. I had to fight for it after we'd chosen it. Other people wanted to direct it. I was very attracted to Laredo. My mother was born in Nogales, Arizona. I watched changes in that town which I'm sure kids are going through in Laredo."
