Please join us at this collaborative meeting. We invite you to
share your
experiences in teaching from the What's the REAL DEAL about Masculinity?
curriculum and any resources you have created. We also invite you to
share samples of student work done in
preparation for the contest.
Finally, we will brainstorm ideas about
topics and activities for the next REAL DEAL contest in 2011-12.

Teachers
who are experienced in participating in the Scenarios USA REAL DEAL
writing contest will
bring colleagues from other departments (English, Social Studies,
Health, Drama) or grades ; or other para-professional educators in their
schools.
Veteran teachers will co-facilitate an introductory workshop for new
teachers on the implementation of the "What's the REAL DEAL about
Masculinity?" curriculum in the 2010-11 academic year.
