December 1, 2008: WORLD AIDS DAY

On December 1st 2008, organizations from around the globe will come together for the 20th World AIDS Day to promote AIDS awareness, advocate testing, and take stock of how far we've come in battling the disease and how far we still have to go.

The Monster. When three young men chat up the new girl on the block, only one gets lucky. But he, however, is forced to deal with his HIV status. Directed by Adam Davidson (Grey's Anatomy) Written by Naeqwan Clarke, Brinton Newson, Jarel Turner, and Randy Walton on Rikers Island, NY.


Nightmare on AIDS Street . 17-year old Isabel knows she can't take back what happened during one hazy night with a guy. She decides to take responsibility and bravely face her greatest fear by getting tested. Directed by Kinan Valdez (El Teatro Campesino). Written by Nicole Zepeda from San Juan, TX.
