January 30, 2007: Scenarios USA film to premiere on BET!

Scenarios USA is thrilled to announce that its new film "Reflections" is premiering on BET on February 4th at 12:00pm!

In 2006, Scenarios partnered with Rap-It-Up, the award-winning public education initiative of BET and the Kaiser Family Foundation, to launch the “What’s the REAL DEAL on Growing up in the Age of HIV/AIDS?” story and scriptwriting contest. The contest was open to young people ages 13-18 across the country.

Keyana Ray, a senior at Proviso East High School in Maywood, Illinois, won the contest. Ray’s story, "Reflections," follows three young women and the issues they face in a community where HIV infection and drug abuse run rampant. Directed by renowned director Gina Prince-Bythewood (Love and Basketball), the film was shot last November in Maywood.

"Reflections" is now making its television premiere on BET!

February 4th at Noon,
followed by Behind the Scenes: Reflections, at 12:30pm.
February 7th (Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day) at 11:00pm.
February 18th at Noon.

All times are Eastern/Pacific.

Please tune in and send this to everyone you know, so that as many people as possible can learn from and be inspired by "Reflections."
